The Department of War released its sixth batch of declassified UAP files on September 18, 2026. The release focuses heavily on the Advanced Aerospace Weapon System Applications Program (AAWSAP), a Defense Intelligence Agency program that ran from 2008 to 2012. It includes 37 Defense Intelligence Reference Documents covering theoretical subjects such as warp drives, wormholes, and antigravity. These are research reports organized by topic, rather than individual UAP cases, and are separate from the case numbering used elsewhere in the PURSUE archive.

Other notable additions include military sensor footage from 2022 and 2025 Middle East encounters involving small spherical objects, including one tracked at up to 500 mph. Colorado law enforcement footage from October 2023 shows a silent object with red, blue, and green flashing lights. A 2010 medical study examines reported radiation-like injuries and other physical effects experienced by three engineers following unexplained aerospace events.

The release also includes a 1952 audio recording of Air Force Captain Edward Ruppelt discussing roughly 800 UFO cases, about 20% of which he said remained unexplained, along with additional material on Navy Chief Warrant Officer Delbert Newhouse's 1952 Tremonton, Utah footage, later attributed to seagulls.

Together, the files add historical records, military sensor data, civilian footage, and research documents to the record of U.S. government UAP investigations spanning more than seven decades.
